As a former FMCSA roadside inspector and state patrol officer, I know exactly what inspectors look for. I know how the traps are set. But more importantly, I saw exactly why companies were failing.

The companies getting crushed by fines did not just have bad drivers. They had broken systems. They relied on written policies that nobody followed, which actually increased their liability. They focused entirely on lagging indicators like CSA scores instead of fixing their maintenance processes or dispatch pressure.

I saw too many good, hard-working people lose their livelihoods because they did not understand the rules of the game.

I decided to switch sides.
I decided to switch sides.
I stepped away from my corporate job doing safety and compliance for a large insurance brokerage because I wanted to help owners, safety directors, drivers and new startups THRIVE. I wanted to take the insider secrets I learned on the roadside and use them to protect your business. It’s about saving lives and giving people more home time and less stress.

My goal is simple. I want to reach more people, and help as many trucking companies as we can. We want you to make more money while avoiding costly mistakes. When you work with Trucking Wins, you are getting a proactive shield that you can take directly to your insurance company to negotiate better rates. We become an extension of your company's safety team.

Safety Director at Kolnik Trucking
“John has been an instrumental part of our DOT safety compliance program and we feel that having him available to us has certainly been worth the investment. His positive approach to our drivers as it relates to managing and improving CSA Scores has positively impacted our company”

Owner Kolnik Trucking

Safety Director at Start Line Trucking
“John conducted a driver meeting for us when he was an investigator with FMCSA that had a lasting effect on our company’s safety culture. When he called to inquire about continuing our relationship, we didn’t hesitate. Since then, he has taken a key role with internal staff development, improving audit compliance procedures, and enhancing our already solid safety initiatives. He is a true asset to have around.”

“I was ready to shut down my operations as the cost of operating our company were getting so high and the margins were so thin. I just couldn’t figure out how to make it work until I started watching John’s Youtube Videos. That lead me to my Trucking Wins membership. I found the money to invest in John’s mentorship and it changed my life forever. I’ve now added 2 more trucks and the future looks promising.”

For decades, the trucking industry has accepted normalized dysfunction. Companies treat safety as a separate department, worry about it when they have to. Reactive VS Proactive.
Dispatchers push unsafe schedules to hit delivery targets. Management relies on passive checkbox training and only worries about safety after an accident or an audit happens.
This reactive mindset costs trucking companies millions of dollars a year in fines, lost loads, and skyrocketing insurance premiums. Just one change in strategy can potentially save you a fortune.
We founded Trucking Wins on one core belief. We are Better Together.
You do not have a driver or staff problem, you have a system problem. It’s getting everyone to be working towards the same goals and outcomes. It’s getting them to buy in to the companies safety and compliance culture and rewarding them on the back end.
We help owners, safety directors, dispatchers and drivers build proactive systems that hold leadership accountable. We provide the insider knowledge, the operational blueprints, and the weekly mentorship necessary to stop treating symptoms and start fixing root causes. We teach the specific topics that each segment needs to understand so that everyone is working together in unison.
Whether you are a trucking company owner, a safety director, professional driver protecting your CDL, or a new startup trying to avoid costly mistakes when getting started, we have the tools to help you thrive.
